Zoe had marked this quilt with her initals, one in each bottom corner. She used the Fan pattern on all four corners and in the center, giving this crazy quilt some order.
crazy quilt Some of the stitches have come loose or worn away and there are a few spots of discoloration in the fabric, but overall this quilt is in very good condition, no rips, tears. Very little deterioration, some small wear holes. It is very heavy, made for the very cold northern winters of upstate New York. It is tied together, some of the multi-colored yarns that make up most of the ties have also come loose, as you can see where the ties are white. It meaures 72" by 86" and has a a thick batting and grey fannel backing.
This is a wonderful example of American crazy quilting.
